Fundraiser for stolen minibus

Help them raise enough money to buy a new vehicle.

Mamma Mia Kids Club and Care Centre will host a fundraiser at their creche on 21 November to raise money for a new minibus after their previous one was stolen.

The minibus in which they had to collect funds over a three year period in order to buy, was stolen from their creche on 6 October. They have since offered a R10 000 reward.

R10 000 reward if minibus is found

About 300 children depended on the minibus for transportation and since it went missing, they have had to rely hiring various people’s cars.

The graduation ceremony which will be their only fundraiser for the year will start from 10am until 4pm and the entrance fee is R50. This includes a free meal with a drink.

“We decided not to charge any money for the food because people will already be paying an entrance fee,” said founder Molly Titus.

She added the care centre will accept any kind of donations from the public for the children. “We currently do not have money to buy the children Christmas presents and we will accept any food parcels or toys for the children,” Molly said. The children are between two and six years.

All money collected will go towards buying a new vehicle for the care centre.

To make a donation or for more information call Molly on 084 647 8652.
