Miss Nature Conservation finalists enjoy Toyota Adventure

Halfway Toyota Honeydew conducts training course

Halfway Toyota Honeydew conducted it’s monthly 4×4 training this weekend at Base 4 in Doornrantjies near the Hennops River.

The training was available to those who bought 4×4 bakkies, Toyota in particular and learn how to maximize the full potential of the vehicle.

Among those in attendance were finalists of the Miss Nature Conservation South Africa 2015 Anebè Oelefse and Jadene Edwards as well as last year’s competition winners T’Amo Rossouw and Cheresè Visser who enjoyed going through the obstacles such as the axle twister.

Sales executive and 4×4 expert Riaan Venter and his team were on hand to give those in attendance guidance on how to bring out the best in their bakkies by starting with theory.

Thereafter it was time to head out onto the course where the 4×4 bakkies were put through their paces in a series of obstacles.

“This is an introduction course to teach them about the actual vehicle and how it works. The market for such vehicles is growing but your find that people just buy it for it’s size and don’t know what else to do with it. With a 4×4 you can head out into nature with your family and we’ll teach you to do that without hurting the environment,” he said.

The Miss Nature Conservation finalists along with the pageant organisor Stefan Myburgh.enjoyed the thrilling activities as the drivers took them around the course, letting them experience the course without holding back. They went around the course in different vehicle models, not wanting to let the exciting day end.
