Pupils put school on the map

They were the only school that participated in the discussions.

Four pupils from Princess High School were invited to participate in the Department of Basic Education’s policy discussions on providing condoms in schools.

The condoms will be provided to schools freely to prevent unprotected sexual intercourse in high school pupils and help stem the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

They were the only school that participated in the discussions which had religious leaders, national education officials and various other stakeholders.

The discussions were hosted by Unicef and the pupils Zinhle Maseko, Beauty Muleya, Bongani Dlamini and Tiholo Hans became ambassadors for the organization.
