Rock and Roll for the Roodepoort SPCA

Support the Roodepoort SPCA's fundraiser and be entertained by your favourite local rock bands.

Stomp your feet and rock your paws on 10 October as the Roodepoort SPCA hosts their fundraiser.

The show will take place at 2pm at Rumours Lounge where the entrance fee is R50.

Attendees can look forward to a line-up from their favourite local rock bands. Bands such as Wonderboom, Gunslinger, State Society, The Anti Retro Vinyls and many more will be gracing the Rumour Lounge stage.

Nicole Manners, organiser of the event said the bands are generously donating their time and talents for free and all proceeds will go towards the Roodepoort SPCA.

There will also be a raffle which will circulate and many prizes can be won. Prizes include a wine and chocolate hamper, hampers from the bands, a gift voucher from Inksane (Tattoo company), and a photoshoot from Crystal Rees-Gibbs Photography.

“Let’s Look” Publishers (Peter Sanderson) of the Sibo series will be giving away five “Sibo Saves A Stray” books to children. The book teaches children the importance of saving stray animals.

Rumours Lounge will offer a free shooter at the door to anyone who brings along dog or cat food, or blankets, which will assist Roodepoort SPCA in caring for the animals coming in.
