Toy gun robbery goes awry
This is what happens when you bring a toy to a gun fight.
Yesterday at about 10am in Lala Street, four suspects, three males and one female, robbed two woman of their handbags with a toy gun.
Patrolling police caught wind of what took place and chased the suspects vehicles. In order to force them of the road they fired a shot. One of the suspects was hit and the vehicle stopped.
The police arrested the suspects and the injured suspect was hospitalised. The remaining three was detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
