3. Each tree produces about 45 kilograms of toilet paper. On average, global toilet paper demand consumes nearly 30 000 trees each day.

4. The US Army used toilet paper as camouflage. During Desert Storm, the US Army used toilet paper to camouflage its tanks.

5. America is the largest exporter of toilet paper in the world.

6. The average roll of toilet paper has 333 sheets.

7. The reason toilet paper disintegrates easily when it is wet is because the fibers used to make it are very short.

8. Renova is the most expensive toilet paper in the world. It is three-ply, perfumed and costs about R39 per roll which comes in assorted colours like black, red, blue and green.

9. Beyoncé only uses red Renova toilet paper.
