Mid-week load shedding prognosis

Residents can expect load shedding today (Wednesday 5 August) should Eskom decide to implement it; however, the prognosis is low for this morning, according to its official twitter account.
On both the official City Power schedule and Grid Watch Block 3B (Roodepoort and surrounds) could be affected at either Stage 1, 2, 3 or 4 from 8am til 12.30pm.
Block 7B (Florida and surrounds) will only be affected at Stage 2, 3 or 4 from 8am til 12.30pm, should load shedding be implemented today.
Last night (Tuesday 4 August), despite Block 3B being scheduled for outages from 4pm til 8.30pm, most households’ lights did not go off.
