During a stop and search operation that was conducted last weekend, various arrests have been made including one for murder.
The operation was conducted all over Roodepoort and the police netted 30 suspects for crimes which included assault, fraud and theft, murder, possession of dagga, possession of drugs, shoplifting, housebreaking and theft.
The suspects were charge and detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
14 of the suspects appeared in Roodepoort Magistrate Court on Monday.
