Beware of these ‘compost sellers’

Suspects armed and dangerous.

The Florida Sector Two Community Policing Forum (CPF) has issued a stern warning about three suspects who gain access to properties pretending to sell compost.

The three male suspects riding around the past two weeks in an old white Nissan 1400 bakkie with the registration BGL 195 GP is targeting the Roodepoort and Randburg area. Their modus operandi includes lifting electric gates completely of its rails or otherwise duping their victims with the ‘compost selling’ act.

The men are believed to have been involved in a recent incident where an elderly couple was assaulted and had to be hospitalised.

They are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Should they be spotted contact your nearest police station or CPF.
