Property Bees donate 1667 books

Reading and education is important.

As part of Property Bee’s 67 minutes initiative, they will be giving 1667 books to the community.

Last month the Record reported the Horizon View Library had a shortage of book. Because of this, Property Bees decided to accumulate books from their customers and donate over 500 books this morning to the library for Mandela Day.

“We want to bring forward the message that reading and education is important. Nelson Mandela enforced education and hopefully we get to do that through the donation of these books,” said Florah Somo, Property Bees’ sales associate.

Other places the real estate company will donate books to are the Klein Helderkruin Retirement Village, Princess Primary School and Princess Nursery School.
