Tough Love supports you

The support group offers advice to people who have been victims of substance abuse.

Tough Love, a non-profit organisation opened its doors recently at the Christ Centered Ministries Church to help people who suffer from drug addiction, alcoholism, verbal and physical abuse.

“Helping people deal with their problems is our main priority,” said Felicia Pieterson, coordinator for Tough Love.

The support group is run by volunteers and people who have substance abuse members in their family.

“We have seen many positive changes in the people who attended our classes and it is always amazing to listen to how people have overcome their problems,” Felicia said.

The group also gives advice on how parents can deal with disruptive behaviour from their children.

Tough Love is run on a donation basis and a possible admin fee might be required.

The classes takes place every Wednesday between 7pm and 9pm at the Church.
