Forum thanks its patrollers

"We are a famil," says Block Watch Captain.

The Discovery Community Forum recently held a braai to thank its patrollers, according to Block Watch Captain Hennie Matthews.

“A patroller sacrifices his time, his fuel and his family life in the interest of the community therefor we felt it important to show our gratitude,” said Matthews. He also said the number of patrollers have grown from two to 24 in the past year and that they “have grown into a family”.

At the braai the constitution was also discussed and Matthews said the evening was enjoyed by all.
