Load shedding this weekend
Should Eskom decide to implement Stage 2 or 3, residents will be harshly affected.
No load shedding is scheduled for Block 3B (mostly Roodepoort) and Block 7B (mostly Florida) residents at Stage 1 this weekend, but should Eskom decide to implement Stage 2 or 3, residents will be harshly affected.
On Friday (3 July) only at Stage 3 will Block 3B residents be load shed, in three consecutive time slots; from 2am til 6.30am, from 2pm til 10.30pm. Block 7B residents will only experience load shedding if Stage 3 is implemented from 2pm til 10.30pm. This means 12 hours of load shedding for the day, or eight-and-a-half hours of consecutive load shedding from 2pm.
On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July Block 3B will be load shed at Stage 2 and 3 from 6pm til 10.30pm. Block 7B residents will only be load shed in Stage 3, from 2am til 6.30am and 6pm til 10.30pm.
