Challenge: Share the power of your smile

It takes about 26 muscles to smile, so feel less guilty about exercising by giving your face a work out.

Have you ever thought about how your smile can impact someone’s day? It could turn a bad day into a much better one for others.

When you walk past someone today at work or in the street, give them a smile. You do not need to say anything more than that.

An unknown author once said, “do not let the world change your smile, let your smile change the world.”

Here are a few fun facts about National Smile Power Day about smiling:

• Forcing yourself to smile can boost your mood

• It is a universal sign of happiness

• According to a study, smiles are more attractive than make up

• Studies have shown that women are more attractive to men when they smile

• Smiling makes you sound more friendly

So what is the challenge?

Because it is Monday, you might give out a simple sigh which could mean, “can this day get any worse?” Rather, take a deep breathe and smile. It could make you feel a lot better.
