Whether you are a superman fan or not, you should adopt him as your favourite superhero just for today.
The first Superman movie, Superman and the Mole-Men, was released in 1951. That was about the same time Elvis Presley rose to fame. Maybe Elvis was a Superman fan too…
Superman’s first appearance in action comics was as a villain, but because the fictitious man of steel is not really made of steel, he fights the bad ‘guys.’
So how can you celebrate Superman day?
You could start off by wearing a Superman T-shirt if you have one. To the oupas and oumas, now is the time finally tell your grandchildren that you secretly liked the Marvel hero.
Throw a party and have a Superman theme.
Because Superman helps those in need, you can do the same by volunteering, or donating blood at your nearest blood bank.
