Who wants cake?

Because anytime should be tea-time when it boils down to eating chocolate cake.

National German Chocolate Cake day is celebrated annually on 11 June by chocolate lovers around the world.

If you thought this day originated in Germany, you thought wrong.

In 1852, Sam German, an American citizen made dark baking chocolate for the American Baker’s Chocolate company. Because of this, the famous American brand: Baker’s German Sweet Chocolate, was named in honour of him.

So, if you were looking for a perfect excuse to have a “cheat” day and eat a slice of moist chocolate cake, today is a perfect opportunity.
