19 injured as bus’ brakes fail

19 people were injured when a bus’s brakes allegedly failed.

19 people were injured when a bus’s brakes allegedly failed on Christiaan de Wet Road earlier today, causing panic among the passengers.

Passengers of the bus allegedly jumped through the windows when they realised something was wrong.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the passengers had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

ER24 treated and transported 11 patients to Garden City Hospital for further treatment while the remaining patients were transported by other services.

The cause of the incident still remains unknown.
