I took the 3pm bus from Ghandi to Witpoortjie. This was the worst experience ever for me and several other passengers. The bus was overloaded with the amount of sitting passengers and over 30 standing. The maximum standing is supposed to be 12.

We asked the driver to stop loading up passenger as its dangerous, we couldn’t breath, people were bumping and falling over each other in order to get off the bus at their destination. At one stage he hit the pavement as he was turning, where two school children early fell out of the bus because they had to stand at the entrance of the door which wasn’t closed and couldn’t close due to overloading. As I stood up to get to my destination it was a nightmare to get to the front due to overloading,

I asked the driver I wish to get off. He responded forget about getting off now and changed the route. Half an hour later and still standing he changed route again and stopped in the middle of two lanes nearby Caxton and Spar where we got off. Never mind passing cars and other traffic. This is the third incident of overloading in two weeks.

Do we pay in advance to be killed by Metrobus or to have a save journey like we are used to? This is totally unexcused and honestly nightmare for all.

I’m sure a lot of people will confirm the above.
