Inyala Archery Club grab gold
Inyala Archery Club was successful, coming home with gold medals at their recent competition.
The Inyala Archery Club participated in the National Archery in the Schools Programme South Africa (NASP) Open competition.
The event was held at Riebeeck Rand in Randfontein earlier this month.
The registered competition invited all archers in South Africa. Inyala was awarded with gold medals for the best junior team in the competition.
This was the club’s second competition in six months and took gold medals for best junior team on both occasions.
Located at the Werna fields, the club, which has been active for less than a year, currently has more than 40 members and is coached by Magda and Willem Wilhelm.
“The children are close to my heart and I enjoy coaching them in the sport. The club is growing and we are aiming to send our best pupils to participate in international competitions,” said Magda.
The club has seven more competitions to look forward to this year.
