Happy New Year and welcome to 2015.

This is certainly going to be a great year, I feel very positive about it. A good start to year was of course the huge reduction in the petrol price and since I’m still travelling to Limpopo every now and again, mainly to visit my dog in Letsitele, the lower petrol price is a huge help.

Apart from the idiots setting off fireworks on New Year’s Eve, I was in bed fairly early – if you can call 11:30 pm early, New Year’s Eve and day was spend with people I cherish.

It still amazes me how they can be so irresponsible by literally burning money just to plead poverty a few weeks later, and not to mention the trauma the poor animals had to go through.

It is a new year with new beginnings and challenges. Congratulations to all the matrics that passed. Welcome to the grown-up world. You are now entering an exciting phase in your life. May you be happy, may you succeed in whatever path you choose and may your dreams come true.

I am also very proud of my daughter who did so well in her matric exams, congrats my baby!

With all that said and done, what did you do to celebrate the new year?

Please send us your pictures, post it on facebook or give us a shout-out on Twitter.

The record team wishes you all a prosperous new year and never give up, there is always something to be grateful for.
Take care of one another.
Ciao
