Sables Fours Championship Winners
Witpoortjie Bowling Club and Discovery Bowling Club won the Sables Fours Championship
The Sables Fours Championship was held at the Discovery Bowling Club last month.
The competition had 30 men teams and 20 women teams taking part in the first rounds which were played on a Round Robin bases over three weekends.
Discovery, Witpoortjie and Roodepoort North Bowling clubs played host to the first rounds while the knockout, semi finals and finals stages were played at Discovery Bowling Club.
In the men’s finals the Witpoortjie Bowling Club took the Mens Fours competition, beating the Ruimsig Bowling club to the R2500 cash prize.
In the Women’s Fours, the Discovery Bowling Club won the final, beating Leases Bowling Club and taking home R1800 cash prize.
