Can you believe how quickly the year has passed?

Feels like just the other day when Christmas decorations were on display in shopping centres and televisions ads promotes their specials for the festive season.

It is also the time where parents have to wonder what to buy for their loved ones. I personally think it is overrated. Not only are the prices and gift becoming more and more extravagant, I suppose that is why it is called the silly season, but people tend to forget the reasons why Christmas is celebrated.

It is not about us, but rather the time spend with your loved one. My philosophy is: “My presence is your present.” This only says that I do not buy gifts for Christmas. Have you ever thought of making presents? It is such a lovely gesture and I am sure it will be gracefully accepted.
Naturally, the end of the year also means business parties and usually the record is invited to almost all the parties. The problem is that we cannot attend all the functions, no matter how much we would like too.

With this in mind, an invitation to submit your yearend function photographs to the record is extended to all. Please take your won photograph and send it to the paper. This will be placed on our website for all to see and it makes it so much easier to accommodate everybody since we will not be able to publish all the photos.

Make sure the photos are of high quality. Blurry pics and bad quality photos will unfortunately not make it to the website and keep it clean. The website is there for all to see, including youngsters.
