Discovery Tennis Club is one of the most active clubs on the West Rand. They have 50 members participating in tennis on social, championship and league level.
The club regularly hosts lunches followed by round-robin matches. It is a family event as all the children and non-playing spouses are invited to this popular and well-supported occasion.
The main event each year is the Discovery Mixed Doubles Tournament, which the club has been hosting annually since 1980. This year marked the 35th event of its kind at the club. It was hosted on the first Sunday of August and 14 mixed doubles pairs participated.
