Three suspects are believed to have been involved in a spate of burglaries at North View Heights in Gordon Road recently.

Residents Grant and Koren Deveraux have come to this conclusion because they have seen the same three men and their vehicle, a black Golf with the registration DVH 649 EC, close to the scene of two burglaries. On one occasion they saw the suspects carrying the stolen goods but Mrs Deveraux says they did not make much of it since people were moving house at the time.

Mrs Deveraux also says that in all five the burglaries the modus operandi has been the same. The men apparently watches their target first, since the burglaries always take place just after the victims have left their homes. They always gain access to the complex by breaking down the small pedestrian gate. They then gain access to the houses by breaking down the doors in exactly the same way after which they go through everything in the house but only take expensive electronic equipment such as televisions, laptops and tablets. The three men are said to be coloured and that one of them limps. The men allegedly are in their late twenties to early thirties.
