Kallis to play in upcoming ODI’s
Kallis will play at three in the upcoming ODI's against Sri Lanka
According to reports from Sri Lanka, South Africa’s legendary all-rounder Jacques Kallis will bat at number three for the Proteas in the upcoming ODI’s.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, head coach Russel Domingo explained that he and his technical team had an idea of what the batting order will be for the three ODI’s, with Kallis set to slot in at number three.
“Jacques is back and he has held the No 3 position for a long time but hasn’t played a lot of ODI cricket recently so he will probably slot back into that position,” said Domingo.
“We have a good understanding of what our batting order is going to be and we are going to try and be as consistent as possible with it.”
JP Duminy, who has featured at No 3 in recent months, is expected to drop down the order to No 5 or No 6.
The three-ODI series commences in Colombo this Sunday.
