Namibian international Henrico Botes has left Platinum Stars and has teamed up with Gavin Hunt at Bidvest Wits.
The striker arrives as a free agent after he failed to earn a contract extension with Dikwena, and it is understood he has penned in a one-year deal.
Botes made 15 appearances in the PSL for Stars last season, scoring five goals in total and with two of those coming out of cup competitions.
The 34-year-old is the second experienced hitman to arrive at Sturrock Park after seeing Zambian veteran Christopher Katongo join the Clever Boys too.
Hunt repeatedly stated that he wanted to acquire someone who can give him 15 goals per season and he will be hoping that one of the two strikers will be able to do so.
Bidvest Wits finished third in last season’s Absa Premiership and where in contention for the league title right up until the third last week.
