Three Roodepoorters – Matthew Larkins, Jeandré van Wyk and Lindie Joubert – will be taking part in the World Beauty Fitness and Fashion (WBFF) competition at Carnival City this coming Saterday (21 June).
The WBFF competition includes categories such as Diva Bikini Model, Diva Fitness Model, Women’s Figure, Male Fitness Model, Male Muscle Model and Male Bodybuilding.
Larkins and Van Wyk, who are budding bodybuilders, will be taking part in the Male Fitness Model category while Joubert will take part in the Diva Bikini Model category.
Competitors from across the world who could not qualify in their own countries for the grand event, WBFF World, will come and take part to have a final shot at qualifying for the world event. The WBFF World competition will take place in Las Vegas in the USA on 16 August.
For all three these residents it is do or die since only the winner in each category will qualify.
The pre-judging starts at 9am and the actual competition will take place at 4pm.
