Passionate hip-hop dancers are encouraged to join the big event this May.
Calling all dancers, if you have what it takes to become the hip-hop champ of champions then the upcoming West Rand Hip Hop Dance Championships is for you.
Owner of the Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy, Mario Gomes invites you to join him at the exciting dancing event scheduled to take place at the Randfontein Golf Club on Saturday 24 May.
Dancers from Roodepoort, Krugersdorp, Randfontein and Westonaria are eligble to take part.
Mario says, “This event is open for all hip-hop dancers from other studios or dancers who are self-taught. As long as they are from the West Rand district.
“The entries can be collected from our academy or I can email it those who are interested as the closing date is Wednesday 7 May.”
Entrance fee per dancer is R150, no matter how many sections they participate in.
Sections are Hip Hop Solos, Hip Hop Duos, Hip Hop Crews, Contemporary Solos, Tiny Tot Displays, Breakdance and the 2014 Hip Hop Champ of Champions.
Mario added that a great prize worth R5 000 will be up for grabs as well as a floating trophy.
