Rdpt’s beauties crowned
Winners of Miss Jnr, Miss Petite, Miss Pre Teen and Mrs Roodepoort announced.
The annual Miss Roodepoort pageant took place on Sunday 29 September.
People gathered from as early as 11am to be part of the excitement.
Westgate Mall’s entrance 2 was abuzz with people coming from all over to catch glimpses of glamorous models strutting their stuff across the stage in flashy, colourful outfits, and to enjoy a live performance by Denim.
Even with an extensive panel of qualified judges, it was tough to decide the winners of the various categories.
MCs Leon Marinus and Kingdom Mahlangu did a wonderful job keeping the audience’s attention with their charm and jokes.
These are the winners:
• Miss Jnr Roodepoort (ages 3 to 6) winner: Izandri Jacob
• Miss Petite Roodepoort (ages 7 to 10) winner: Chanell Karel
• Miss Pre Teen Roodepoort (ages 11 to 13) winner: Thato Nzimande
• Mrs Roodepoort winner: Niki Yeo
Limelite went all out to make the Miss Roodepoort pageant a successful event by providing great MCs, sound, lighting and models.
Leander Blignaut from Limelite Models added, “This was the semifinal event for the teens and Miss. We now have selected 10 finalists from each category who will take part in the final event on Saturday 30 November.”
