A house robbery resulted in a firearm being stolen on the early morning of Sunday 1 September.
According to reports the robbery took place at around 5.55am at a house in Creswell Street, Florida.
Captain Lydia Dikolomela, Florida police spokesperson, told the Record on Monday 2 September that no one was injured in the robbery.
“The suspects also appear to have taken nothing but the resident’s revolver.
“No rounds were shot and the suspects fled the scene.”
Dikolomela says that a case had been opened at Florda SAPS later on Sunday.
“We will be investigating.”
