Cansa féte a success

Discovery community's support turns Cansa fête into success.

Local Samaritan Avrill Botha has done it again for charity.

This community stall ward who spearheads more than nine charities once again has gone beyond the line of duty. On 27 July a fête was held on the corner of Frere and Anstruther Streets in order to raise funds for Cansa.

What initially was supposed to be a potjiekos competition turned into a fully fledged fête, which would not have been possible without the Reformed Church El-Flora Africa and the community.

Attractive stalls aplenty was on display and line dancers and clowns entertained young and old.

According to Cansa, the day was a success with a total of R5 000 being raised.
