An EcoBoost for a youngster

The dream of owning a brand new set of wheels became a reality for Gift Makwarela from Soweto, when he won a brand new 2018 Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost Trend 6MT on Saturday, 16 February.
His prize was made possible by Liquorland, a liquor franchise under the Masscash group, which ran a competition between 1 September and 31 October last year.
According to the regional liquor manager, Cherize Roberts, “The winner simply needed to buy one of the products featured in our Win-a-Car competition at any of our Liquorland outlets to stand a chance to win”.
She said the draw took place on 9 November and after all the administration had been done, the car was presented to the winner.
A very ecstatic Makwarela expressed his happiness. “I’m feeling very happy about winning this brand new ride – it’s something I did not expect. I would like to thank Liquorland for it,” he said.
Makwarela was accompanied by his father-in-law, Gilbert Matavhatsidi, who in 2015 also won a car in a Liquorland car competition.
Gordon Mathabe, the Liquorland customer relations officer, encouraged customers to visit their outlets or social media platforms to find out about more competitions.
