Last year marked Orion College‘s first golf day fundraiser and this year the community is invited to another day of golf fun.
“All funds raised from this project will be used to purchase smart-boards/projectors for our classrooms,” said Megan Scannell, primary school principal at Orion College.
Orion College is a school that caters for pupils with barriers to learning. Most of the pupils learn through visual stimuli and will benefit greatly from the experience of learning through interactive methods via smart-boards or projectors.
The community can get involved in the following ways:
- Enter a four ball alliance to play on the day. R2 320 includes the green fees, golf-cart, lunch and prize giving
- The Orion package, which includes a four ball package and a R2 000 sponsored hole for a total of R4 320
- Be a general sponsor or give a donation
- Sponsor a hole for R2 500
- Donate prizes for the day.
