This was one of their busiest markets this year! Attendees were welcomed by a chorus of donkeys, the delicious smell of freshly cooked food, and an array of different craft stalls to keep them busy.

These markets help raise funds for the rescued donkeys at the sanctuary – all that came from less than ideal (and sometimes extremely traumatising) situations and have been brought to the sanctuary to live out the rest of their lives with an abundance of care, love, and attention. The rescue recently welcomed over two dozen donkeys from Kliprivier and Phalaborwa.

Lloreen, Albert, and the rest of the Rest Ur Ass team would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to every person who supports their rescue, whether it be through attending their markets, movie nights, donating, or even just visiting the donkeys and giving them attention.
