Nova Pioneer Ruimsig presented a Family Market Day on Saturday, April 1.
Since the theme was Superhero, parents, staff, and learners dressed up as superheroes. The morning was festive and filled with excitement. Parents arrived early to help set up their children’s stalls. The Grade 4 learners demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills by selling delectable snacks and handmade crafts.
“We also have several flea market stalls that catered to the interests of parents. A wide range of crafts, snacks, and apparel was available for purchase and Kia Sandton also displayed several of its vehicles,” exclaimed Carla Hercules.
The parents were treated to a drumming session during which they demonstrated their rhythmic and dancing abilities. It was a fantastic way to close out term one.
“We are grateful to all of our parents for coming and supporting us,” concluded Hercules.
