The visitors where the most entertaining of the two sides in the first stanza as they showed more determination and dominance in the middle of the park.

As expected, Magalies SAPS opened the scoring with a well-worked move and quick off the ball play from their creative attacking midfielders who made sure of the quality supply needed by their strikers.

SWGC Masters equalised after Lebona Maku played a defence splitting pass that landed in the path of their striker who finished calmly to make the score 1-1 at the halftime mark.

Both teams fought for equal possession in the second half and scored two goals a piece to make the final score 3-3 with both sides convinced that their preparations are well underway.

On Friday, January 20 SWGC Masters produced a bigger squad as they saw themselves having to entertain two teams at the South West Gauteng College Campus.

The first opponents came in the form of SWGC Molapo Campus who managed to score 1 goal against a more organised SWGC Masters side that scored five goals making the final score 5-1.

The second match against SWGC George Tabor Campus was more difficult for SWGC Masters as both sides kept searching for goals and defended with determination.

The match ended with both teams hitting the back of the net once as the final whistle ended an encounter that had players showing signs of fatigue as they struggled under the hot weather conditions.
