Local football academy take on TS Galaxy in a friendly

Saturday, May 14 saw Florida-based side Prestige Football Academy exchange blows with TS Galaxy in a friendly encounter that included their sides from under 13 to under 19 at Cecil Payne Stadium.

The home sides showed great determination by giving their more established opponents a good run and displaying good football to mark a very competitive day of soccer.

According to Prestige Football Academy’s Head of Development, Siphamandla Sabelo Mthethwa, the team is happy with the performance from their juniors.

Siphamandla was mostly impressed with the performance of the under 15s who took the game from their opponents and beat them by a convincing 3–1.
