Horizon View Primary’s little ones ready for Grade 1!

On Wednesday, January 12 many parents felt a strong tug at the heartstrings.

A lot has been written about the struggle of the first day of school for learners. Whether it be pre-school, Grade 1 or Grade 8, the change always brings about a new excitement and anxiety.

On Wednesday, January 12 many parents felt a strong tug of the heartstrings as their little ones said goodbye to start off their brand-new adventure. At Horizon View Primary the first day of school was no exception when the Grade 1s excitedly ran off to their classrooms, leaving the parents to deal with the waterworks.

Even though the experience might have been an emotional one for the parents in particular, school principal Claudia Sono assured them that their children were in good hands.

“We trust that the Grade 1s will enjoy their time here. We appreciate that the parents have chosen our school. We trust the little ones will learn as much as they can here at Horizon View Primary. We are ready to teach them!” Claudia said.
