Carla Fraser from KCVA said as soon as they arrived on the scene, the perpetrators fled.

“They ran into the church ground and were pursued by the KCVA members in vehicles and on foot. They blocked them off and chased then down. One suspect was detained but unfortunately, the other one got away as he pulled a gun on a member,” said Carla.

APCAN then assisted and supported them until the police arrived on scene.

Among evidence that was seized were a crowbar, gloves, balaclavas and protective clothing.

“A big thank you to the KCVA patrollers and APCAN that assisted in this operation,” she said.
