On Thursday, 11 July, Florida Police officials acted on a tip-off, which led to the arrest of two people.
The suspects, aged between 20 and 24, were arrested for the possession of drugs.

“While our members were busy patrolling the area, a member of the public stopped them and informed them that people are smoking drugs next to the pharmacy on Plaza Road. Our members acted and the arrest was made,” said Sergeant Mpho More, spokesperson for the Florida Police.
The suspects will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
