Florida licensing station closed after robbery

Extensive damage caused

The Florida Driver’s Licence and Testing Centre (DLTC) will be closed until further notice, after an armed robbery took place last night, 30 September.

According to a Facebook post by Ward 71 councillor, Caleb Finn, due to the extensive damage caused, the facility will remain closed until further notice. “Some repairs will need to be done, before the facility can open again. Those who had bookings will be contacted in due course, to reschedule,” the post read.

The matter is being investigated by the Florida Police.
