Bullying awareness week at Lantern School well supported
Campaign was met with enthusiasm
Lantern School launched a bullying awareness campaign recently, and the learners participated with enthusiasm.
The programme was filled with fun activities, ranging from talks on bullying and how to overcome it, to giving learners the opportunity to wear different coloured socks.
Learners wore yellow as a symbol of peace and friendship, green as a symbol of jealousy and red as a symbol of love.
The campaign was concluded on 17 August, with learners building bully giants with waste and recyclable materials.
