Police warn of bogus repair people in Roodepoort

'Do not open your gates for strangers'

Residents of Roodepoort and surrounding areas are warned to be on the lookout for bogus repair people in the area.

“Four males and one female pretend to repair Wi-Fi at people’s homes. We are urging the community not to open their gates and grant them access to their properties to avoid falling prey to housebreakings and house robberies,” said Sergeant Juliet Mogale, the communication officer at the Roodepoort Police Station.
