Discovery hosts fun bowling day
Enjoy some bowling on Human Rights Day
The Discovery Bowling Club will be hosting their ‘Roll it to win it’ fun day on 21 March, from 9am.
The costs are R70 per adult and R30 per child, and teams will be drawn on the morning. “The team will consist of an experienced bowler joined by a grandmother, grandfather, child and so forth, to ensure everyone has a fair chance,” said Marie Wagenaar from the club.
She added that there will be lots of prizes, with a first prize of R2 000 in cash. Participants will be served tea and scones on arrival, as well as lunch.
For those who are interested, there will be a karaoke session, and Pieter Engelbrecht will be providing live entertainment. The day promises to be loads of fun.
