Woman airlifted after serious accident
Traffic flow heavily interrupted.
Traffic flow was interrupted earlier this morning (7 February) when a taxi T-boned a bakkie.
Details of the accident are sketchy but according to a Netcare 911 tweet, “T-bone type crash on Ontdekkers Road and Christiaan de Wet. A female with severe injuries was airlifted and two other adults had sustained mild to moderate injuries”.

The woman had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The helicopter circled for a while as it seemed to have difficulty finding a suitable spot to land.
