Hard-working judoka rewarded for their efforts
KJK Judo Club had four judoka who were rewarded by Judo South Africa (JSA) for their achievements at the African Kata Championships earlier this year.
The awards were conducted at the opening ceremony of the SA Open Judo Championships earlier this month in Bloemfontein. Harm Venter and brothers Louw and Gerhard Schultz received R2 500 each, while Andrew Diab was awarded the JSA Floating Trophy for Technical Official of the Year.
This is the first time that this trophy has been awarded to a Johannesburg West district member and KJK Judo Club member.
