We compare fuel prices from 2007 to 2017
Fuel prices go up by as much as 15 per cent today.
With yet another fuel price increase effective as of today, 2 August, the Record decided to compare the fuel prices of the past 10 years.
From today, petrol will cost R13,05 per litre, while diesel will cost R11,26. Here is a diagram comparing August fuel prices from 2007 to 2017:
