Update: Reward offered for missing puppy

Owners desperate to find their beloved pet

It has been three days since a Lindhaven’s family four-month-old pit bull puppy was stolen from their home.

According to Bonnette Glendon, they have not received any news on Bliksem, who was reportedly taken at approximately 4pm on 18 July.

“We are in the process of having posters printed, it has been just so hectic since he went missing. We spoke to all of our direct neighbours, but nobody has seen anything.

The only reason I know what time it happened, is because whoever took him, set off the house alarm,” said a very emotional Bonnette.

She added that they are so desperate to get their puppy back, they are even willing to offer a reward. “I can offer a reward of R1 000 for Bliksem’s safe return, if that will increase my chances of having him back at home,” she said.

Bliksem needs to be found urgently, as he is on chronic medication for allergies. “His eyes become swollen to the extent that he cannot see and he breaks out in hives,” she said in tears.

He is brown in colour with a white triangle on the back of his neck and all four of his paws are white too.

If anyone sees him or has some information on where he might be, Bonnette can be contacted on 084 508 8359.
