Licensing authorities affected by taxi strike
One office closed, others operating on lower staff capacity
If you need to visit a licensing office today (15 June), you should know that some of the offices have been affected negatively by the nationwide taxi strike.
According to the City of Johannesburg, some of the offices are closed, while others will be running on a reduced staff capacity.
The following stations are affected:
• Roodepoort Driving Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) – 50 per cent staff capacity
• Roodepoort Motor Vehicle Registration Authority (MVRA) – Fully capacitated
• Langlaagte Motor Vehicle Registration Authority (MVRA) – Fully capacitated
• Langlaagte Driving Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) – 50 per cent staff capacity
• Martindale – Fully capacitated
• Randburg Motor Vehicle Registration Authority (MVRA) – Fully capacitated
• Randburg Driving Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) Civic Centre – 30 per cent staff capacity
• Randburg Driving Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) – Fully capacitated
• Midrand Motor Vehicle Registration Authority (MVRA)
• Midrand Driving Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) is only conducting learner’s licence classes today, and has a five per cent staff capacity.
• Sandton is closed.
