Motorists using the N1 South can expect delays due to either a crash or a crime scene.
A reputable news outlet put out a Tweet a short while ago, stating that the N1 South is backed up due to a crime scene just before the 14th Avenue on-ramp. The nature of the crime scene is yet to be established. The Record is currently trying to contact Fairlands Police Station for more information.

According to another source, a crash is the reason for the traffic queuing.
